Over 500
nominations were received covering 54 categories and the awards committee
reviewed and rated all submissions. With the exemption of the Best Social
Media Platform and Next Rated Pageant Queen which have 2 finalists, Pageant
King of The Year which have only 1 finalist , Organization Making a
Difference and Next Rated Pageant King and Best Student of the
Year categories which have 3 finalists each due to the sheer volume of
eligible nominees, all other categories have a maximum of 5 finalists.

Criteria to emerge as the winner of the West
African Citizens Awards 2019
1. All nominees are to opt in for a Regular,
VIP, Couple, Gold Table or a Diamond Table event ticket on or before 4th of December
2019. This is because Nominees that will not be present at the grand finale event cannot be
awarded.
